I’m from a lovely little town called Harpenden, just north of London. I’ve always been interested in the many different forms of media from a young age since studying Music, Art and Drama for my GCSE’s, which then led on to a Level 3 National Diploma in Creative Media Production. I was going to study animation in Leicester, but during a year of volunteering I realised I missed going out with my camera too much, so I switched to videography in Winchester.
This started my journey of higher education in our historical capital. It’s a beautiful place, much like back home, just with more heritage sites and roaming students. Here I studied Broadcast Television & Media Production, a three-year course in creating all kinds of video content from short films and documentaries, to music videos and animations.
In the summer after graduation, a friend and I made Visual Storm, a freelance videography business partnership. From working with Marriott Hotels, I soon discovered our fascination with marketing and the wider impact of creative content, prompting me to return to Winchester for an MA in Digital Media Practice: Advertising, Marketing & Brand Strategy. I’ve now just graduated in my mid-twenties (I couldn’t tell you which one, they’re starting to blur together) and while I have experience in the industry, I am more than eager to join a team and start creating and sharing great quality content!
